I was somewhere on Rt. 66 when I got the news. This means I'll never have a chance at a winning record against him in Scrabble. I knew he'd be tough, and he was, but I beat him on occasion. He beat me more. At NARAM 53 in Lebanon we were working the sport range together and decided to make our LCO an honorary Bill to make keeping the names straight a lot simpler. Good man. The kind of guy you took seriously after one conversation. He knew where his towel was.
