Default What's your "all-time" favorite rocket?

For whatever reason. The rocket you would have if you could only have the one.

It's a tough question, I know. There are four or five that I'd like to include, but I want to distill it to just one.

I'm going with the Centaur. Can be launched single or two-staged. Has a payload compartment (not that I'd ever use it) and it's just plain 'ol good looking and has those classic Centuri fins.

Sea Strike D

Especially if you convert the upper stage to take the old FSI F7 or I guess now the newer Estes E/F BP motors....

That sounds like an inflated prediction.

It's a toss-up between the Estes Mars Lander, Enerjet Athena, and Estes/Semroc 1/70 K-29 Saturn 1B. If I had to choose only 3 rockets, it would be those 3.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Enerjet 2650. Perfect with the new Estes motors.

John, that would be a great kit. BT-26 (82) 2.60" ID. BT-11 (54) 1.14" ID. 3:1 ogive or thereabouts. Maxi-Alpha III shape approx.

Estes need an ogee nose cone kit. Preferably bigger than 2" and large motor capable.

Jerry
