Default The Day the Earth Stood Still

The Day the Earth Stood Still is on right now on AMC! One of my all time favorite movies. It is the 60th anniversary of the release.
Pop some corn and enjoy!

We watched it, haven't seen that one in 20 years. I forgot aunt Bea and the woman that played Otis' wife were in it 10 years before The Andy Griffith Show. Several of the bit parts were people that were in many movies, always as bit part actors. I suppose all of them worked at the same studio. Still enjoy seeing them though.

I still have Ringo Starr's album, Only You. The cover has him standing on the saucer ramp as Klaatu.

Default James Dean Too!

James Dean had a bit part as a soldier. Now I have to watch my DVD and find him.
And yes, they repeated it at 10:00 pm.

I own the DVD too but still enjoy it on TV.
