I’ll likely punch holes in the coupler for venting, and it wouldn’t need to have punched holes in the tube, so it would be faithful to the Farside look.
I’ve vented the booster in my Double Mini Max, and it stages perfectly. The booster motor tube is extended, to get the gases well directed into the upper stage A10. (The booster tube is the Mini Max main tube, 5” long, so it’s a large separation between motors.) I’ve only flown this rocket on A10s, preferring the larger nozzle diameter for staging, and extra kick from the booster.
