Default Vintge Estes X-16 build

Somehow this little scale-like gem came and went long ago without me ever snagging one.
Skill level 3 seems a little high--it's probably because the 3D side fairings are built up from cardstock and with internal bulkheads.
The PNC looks like the same one used on the Estes Argosy--and probably others.

If anyone nees the cardstock patterns for the fairings, let me know. Sandman now has the decals.

PNC50sp Not being made at the moment. Molding Oldies sold a reproduction, but it lokos like they are out of stock at www.siriusrocketry.com

You could order a downscale or upscale version from http://www.shapeways.com/shops/meatballrocketry?s=0 but they aren't cheap.

I bought a bulk pack of the old Venom kit when they went on clearance with the intention of building all the models that used that cone.

I had a bunch of PNC-50SP's I was selling on my web site but they went really fast.

A few years ago I purchased two cases of Estes Venom kits in bulk pack and got the nose cones out of them..

I built a few clones.

My X-16 is in the middle.

Maybe John at Estes can design a new rocket that uses this OOP nose cone.
