I painted the Payload of my third 1972 Enerjet AeroDart Clone last night with AeroGloss Jet Black and the Main body with Aero Gloss Swift White dope.
used 5 coats on each.
Have not decided yet if I will use Testors Bright Red or "custom" mixed AeroGloss Stearman and Fokker Red dopes for the fin can....I may go with the Testors enamel as it is so close and much simpler than custom mixing up a batch of two colors of dope.
Going to paint the red tonight and put the checkerboard monokote trim on the payload also.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, TURMOIL, FIASCOS, and HAVOC !

Well, I won't be using such 'traditional' finishing materials ( ) but Mr. Krylon and I have an appointment to paint the black area of my payload section this afternoon.

I forgot to post this picture a few days earlier.

Here's my Aero-Dart clone as of today, Wednesday.

Getting closer to being finished. I'll wait a day for the black paint to dry before applying the decals.

Alright, here's a picture of my 'finished' Enerjet Aero-Dart clone.

I still need to install the recovery system but that won't change the picture.

Now, to do all the OTHER things needed before I leave for NARAM.

It's not a roll, it's a danish!

The checkerboard decal is from Phred. I don't know if it's on his website, yet.

Looks awesome Bob!

Now all it needs is a nice big white flame and a column of smoke under it .....

You're going to turn some heads at NARAM with the "old school" crowd there. Good luck with it.

Default Aero-Dart Family

Here's a picture of my two Aero-Dart models.

The left one is the Semroc SLS kit.

The one on the right is my clone of the KE-2 Aero-Dart.

Both will be available for viewing at NARAM-49.
