Yea, I know, but it couldn't be that hard to get the original sizes done.

I could've sworn Carl had all the correct-size tubing for the original. I think it was just one of the tubes that was odd-ball. I believe it was a BT-58.

Hey, Woody

I actually thought of doing a fleet of different color OTs. Blue was going to be my next, probably a light to medium blue to stand out against the black in the decals. Then I couldn't even make a dent in my inventory of unbuilt kits. Seems I'm not the only one with that problem. And I keep adding to the inventory.

I do have a set of red decals for a big Orbital Transport I have built. Just needs to be primed and painted. It is BT-60 sized, a 1.68x upscale. To get the glider close to scale, I used BT-52 for it and turned my own nose cone. Since this picture was taken I've substituted a scale balsa nose cone for the plastic one.

Cutting all the fins out of basswood was very fun.

Another forum member was kind enough to send me a LTV fin to use for a guide. This is my progress so far , I need raid my scrap bits for a small plastic T for the bottom of the fin.

Not factory but better then none !
