Default Who Are These Guys Anyway?

Can somebody help identify the people in this photo?

There is an intriguing photo from 1968 on the MOF Flickr site which some of you may have seen. It shows a NARAM panel discussion at the contest, held in Wallops Island that year.

NARAM 10 Panel Discussion

The three men on the left are not known to me. G. Harry Stine is behind the Saturn model, on the right of the model is another unidentified person, then Vern Estes, Lee Piester, and Irv Wait.

Anybody know the rest of these guys? Lots of great photos on Flickr if you haven't seen them.

Thanks!

I think the guy sitting on the stage (not in a chair) is Jim Barrowman.

Third chair from the left is Dr. Jack Griffin, noted for research in optics.

I think the two gentlemen sitting on the left side of the picture behind Barrowman are Manning Butterworth and his father.

Oh, ok! Now I see him. I was beginning to think something was wrong with my eyes because at first glance, ya know, he's just kind of invisible.

Pat,

I was not there. NARAM-11 was my first national meet.
