Cook out at Sod Farm Launch for July
For the Sod farm on the 6th of July the theme is Patriotic rockets and since it is the weekend after the 4th how about a cookout at the launch (weather permitting)?
I'll bring the Hot dawgs and buns, let's make it a pot luck kind of thing just reply to this thread as to what you are bringing. Mark |

Officially it's 10:00 am. Some arrive earlier. BTW we have the grill, hot dawgs, chips, potato salad and drinks set but we need condiments and paper plates yet. |

Sorry you couldn't make it, Chad. There was a good turnout, perhaps a dozen cars, and a lot of food! The weather was great for flying, with light winds, though the tall weeds were not great for finding rockets. Despite this, I think all of the birds landing in the grass were found, even Andy's downscales. A number of patriotic flights occurred including sport scale patriots, a Citation Patriot, some nice Estes/Centuri patriotic downscales, two Mercury Redstones, and other assorted Red, White, and Blue birds. It was nice to see some veteran club members there (Scott & Brent).
A good day at the Farm!
