Interesting . . . a cut-down F15? That is, an F15 without the long tail?
I'd have preferred to see something with a much higher peak thrust. An E30, say. Why is Estes releasing so many low-thrust mid-power motors? I am guessing that the black motor team has been testing all sorts of motor designs, but that the low-thrust long-burning varieties are the only ones that make the grade as far as reliability goes.

I can't figure out how to attach a pdf so you'll have to go over to TRF to get the data sheet with the curve but it is just like the F15 with a shorter sustaining thrust.

Power/thrust=time. 33.38/15.95=2.09 sec burning time. Very useful. Furthermore it has a full 1/2 second rise time to peak thrust. That's a little odd and users should watch what issues that may raise. BTW at 40g, one can fly a three cluster within the FAA 125g exemption. This doesn't work for a pdf, but of course you can place an image into the body of the message with the yellow square "img" button which puts the code in front of and after your URL for the image which you copy and paste into the message: http://www.rocketryforum.com/attach...16&d=1340656145 BTW that didn't seem to work right. Anybody wanna bet we see these and the new 29mm F15 motors on shelf before any of those Thundermess things ?
I just hope they sell them in 3-paks for a street price less than per n-sec of a RMS24 reload. If CLOSE to the price per n-sec of a 24mm reload, I will buy them. If even remotely close to the per n-sec cost of SU APCP motors other than the 18mm D and 24mm E15 through valuerockets, I won't. Will buy one of each for the collection and that's it.
