Either no one has wanted these plans or no one has bothered to tell me about the problem with them not showing up until Mark Kulka just let me know about it now. Since 09/06 the pdf for this plan was messed up on my site. Anyhow, the file is fixed now so if anyone is looking for the Meteor plans they can get them at:

Well that's a coincidence. I'd never heard of the Meteor, but saw one listed on ebay earlier today and then mentioned here just now.

I think I've still got the die crushed fin sheet and decal sheet left over from using one of them to clone a Goblin back in the early 90's. Same nose cone (plastic version) and same length BT, IIRC.

BTW, I believe that was my first clone.

Perhaps it's just me but I can't spot a listed body tube description other than the 9" length.

Looks like it might be a BT-50???

The Meteor? It's a BT-55, same as the Goblin. (1.325" dia)

Based on the images, I'm guessing it uses an A-B-C motor rather than the D like the Goblin.

I'm just a roadie for the banned...

Since Semroc makes upscaled versions of the BNC/PNC-55AO nose cone, I was looking through John Brohm's Estes Nose Cone Reference for possible candidates for upscaling. The 2025 Meteor* used that nose cone, so I thought that I would take a look at its plans (it wasn't the only one that I was looking at). That's how I found out that the link didn't work. I first noticed this about a week or so ago, during a similar browsing session, but thought that it might just be a temporary glitch in the connection. (It was around the same time that we couldn't connect to the BMS website, or NAR's, etc.) When it wouldn't work again today, I sent Scott an email alerting him to the problem. Thanks to Scott for fixing it promptly.

There is a link at the bottom of the vertical menu bar on the YORS and YORP home pages (entitled "Contact Us"), which enables you to send an email to either Scott Hansen or Buzz Nau. If you encounter any problem with accessing anything at either site, by all means send one of them a simple note telling them about it. Don't assume that they already know about the problem.

That's correct, just a regular 4FNC rocket with 18mm mount. The Goblin was an anomaly with the D mount.

I've still got the Meteor in an unopened box......

There was an earlier bagged Meteor that only had three fins........I've got that one somewhere too......wonder if the plans have been posted....

Mine was bagged. I don't recall if it was 3 or 4 fins, just assumed it was 4 because that's what the catalog pic shows. I'll look tonight if I don't forget.
