Speaking of Pajama Party, I know Annette Funicello also has MS, and it has seriously affected her speech. My grandfather had it, and I can readily recognize that symptom. It seems to be getting more common. Montel Williams has it (supposedly), but he seems to be holding up very well. David Lander (Squiggy) also has it, but he seems to be coping. He says it has affected his mobility some, but I don't think it's impacted his speech yet. My sister was once diagnosed with it, but she's doing amazingly well (knock wood). I think hers is in remission. It's an auto-immune disorder. I wonder if stress isn't a major factor in precipitating the disease. Doug .

Along with the MS, in 2006 Teri had a brain aneurysm. She recovered, and did a handful of small roles in 2007 (none that required much mobility), as well as the Letterman appearances which were in 07 or 08, but I don't think she's surfaced since then.
