"Conquest" looks like a Shrox - style kit. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery I guess!

Dark Silver is half strange use of a nose cone, half wild-looking fin job.

Cobra is pretty keen-looking.

Great to see them reusing some of the old sci-fi cones.

Looks like they're trying to get some milage out of the Orion cone, and the Odyssey / Rigel 3 cone

after being out of touch for a lil over a year due to life issues, was excited to see that cone for the Odyssey , as I have a vintage one that needs a cone. been hoping molding oldies would tackle that one, but maybe too complex ?

also, is it me, or does the Dark Silver look to maybe have the tail ring for the Interceptor ?

good time to be a rocket builder

I believe you are correct. I wouldn't mind having a hand full of the tail cones on all three "exotic" kits for scratch builds. The O.C. kit looks like a twist lock.

What I find interesting is the fact that 3 out of the 4 are not 3fnc. Could this be a return to the golden age?

Nice to see this style of rockets again. I loved the sci-fi themed rockets that Estes had when I was first building rockets in the 70s. I t was nice to see these old but updated cones again and it was cool of Estes to offer these cones in a 5 pack!

That Dark Silver might be finding a home in my stash. Another good use for that 40%-off coupon at Hobby Lobby...

Cool stuff! I hope the name "Orange Crush" isn't trademarked.

You're optimistic about them actually stocking something other than 3 & 4 FNC kits.
