I was pretty worried to find the Estes box sitting on the doorstep, looking like Ronald McDonald had stepped on it. Luckily, all the contents appear to have survived unscathed.

Gotta love those UPS/FedEx package BOOTINGS !

I have a cousin that worked for UPS back in the late 80's to pay for college.
He used to tell me stories about some of the warehouse employees playing football or deliberately MANGLING boxes stamped with that famous foreign word "Fragile".
He told me that they often DELIBERATELY put boot-prints on packages without actually damaging the goods just to freak-out customers when they saw their packages on the porch/front door area.
TOTAL RIOTT !

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

This wasn't a footprint, one end of the box was crushed as if a much heavier box was placed on top of it. It was also delivered by USPS instead of a commercial outfit.
