I had forgotten I got a Norvel 049 with throttle in a box somewhere from years ago. I got it for a Guillows P-40 that I never finished.
I miss the cars a lot. But every time I see one on eBay they go for $200... |

The Wen Mac engine wasn't bad and they started fairly easily but the propellers that came on the RTF planes were terrible. I usually replaced them with a Cox prop right away. The Testors engines ran pretty good also but didn't have the power of a Cox engine. If I recall correctly, the bore was smaller and they had a longer stroke. |
