Default Looking for a project

The story as it stands right now:
I have a nose cone from a Big Daddy that core sampled back in 2001. From a cosmetic standpoint it isn't the greatest, but nothing a little putty and some paint can't fix. I bought a 34" length of tube for it and I'm trying to come up with an upscale project to build around it. I've been looking at the old catalogs at Ninfinger, but not really finding anything that seems to fit the Big Daddy nose cone profile. At the moment I'm leaning toward a big Starship Excalibur, but that's really more involved than I was hoping for. If any of you have a suggestion for something that might fit the profile, I'd be interested in hearing ideas.

BT-80, right? Then I would give 12 bucks to Shrox and get the decal and plans to his 24 mm Skonk Wulf.

BT-80 is 2.6" diameter tubing. The Big Daddy is listed as being 3" in diameter. It's the old NCR tubing. T-300 is the designation that BMS gives it.

Bill is right - the Big Daddy nose is 3". My suggestion is to forget trying to upscale something and scratch build. I've got a few lengths of BT-300 and I'm planning to make a tube fin model out of it. Mine is going to have a 29mm mount in it so I can use it for my Level I cert, but a 3" diameter tube fin really rocks on a 3x24mm mount (3 E9s are awesome in my "Tube Daddy".

I thought about that, and even had a design based on the Viking tube fins that I was into a while back, but I think I've been there, done that for now. I have a Hex Courier clone that I'm working on at the moment, so that also figured into it.

How about a "Big Momma" to go with the Big Daddy. I am sure that you could come up with something.
