Default 1959 "Space Introduction" LP

Hello All,

On YouTube, I just found (the links are below) the 1959 Golden LP Record titled "A Child's Introduction to Outer Space," narrated by Willy Ley and featuring the Satellite Singers (whose songs are quite good). This record covered—using songs interspersed with dramatic audio scenes narrated by Willy Ley—launching an artificial satellite, the uses of communications satellites and weather satellites, the establishment of a von Braun-type rotating wheel space station, the different weights one would have on different planets, the formation of the solar system, and the first manned voyages to the Moon (with an introduction to the poetic nomenclature of selenographic features such as the lunar seas) and to the planet Mars. It's a perfect way to "brainwash" your children into supporting the cause of space exploration (as well as model rocketry)... :-) Here are the links:

I hope this material will bring back many pleasant memories.
