Default Ultimate Rocket Fin Jig

Hello, I have some more of my Ultimate Rocket Fin Jigs for sale. I only have these listed from time to time as they take a long time to build and I have four of them ready to ship at this time. These are the new styled Jig with a larger 5" X 5" base plate so larger rockets can be built with it.

A full details can be seen by clicking the link to my E-bay auction. You can ether bid on the auction or E-mail me if your interested in buying one.

Please let me know if you have any questions,

Thanks, Dale P.

Thumbs up

Fantastic-looking jig, but you spelled Estes incorrectly in the eBay title.

Thanks for the heads up! It's important to have that spelled correctly as it will affect the search feature on E-bay. It has been fixed!

Thanks again for the spell check, Dale P.

Very nice looking jig.

No offense, but you ought to type up your description in a word processing program so that you get a spell check and then cut and paste it into your listing. That description is full of typos. Your listing would look much more professional and may bring more buyers, IMO.

Also, just so you know CA is generally the abbreviation for Cyanoacrylate, commonly called super glue. Contact adhesive is something completely different and not usually used to glue fins on, but maybe you do use it for that.

Again, no offense, just offering some suggestions.

No offense taken, I wrote the ad late in the evening and really should have looked it over better! Guess I thought E-bay was running a spell check as I typed. I checked over the ad and think it's good to go, but please take a look and let me know if you see any more mistakes.

Thanks again, Dale P.

Just an FYI.
I sold two more jigs last week and have two left at this time is any one is interested. After these two are gone I will be out for about three weeks as things are quite busy here and I won't have time to make any more.

I just wanted to up date this post. I'm currently out of jigs and should have some ready by mid September 2013. I will post a new thread when they are ready.

Thanks Dale P.

The price for the jig and four mandrels is $125.00 Additional mandrels can be purchased for $20.00 each for sized BT 2 through BT 60 Larger sizes such as BT 70 and BT 80 cost more to make as the aluminum is expensive and I have to charge $25.00 each for them. There are a lot of different body tube sizes and I know everyones needs are different so I offer the mandrels separate so people can buy just the ones they need.

Here is a chart for common mandrel sizes. There are some other body tube sizes on the market, but they are rarely used so I don't have them listed, but I can make up what ever you need.

BT 2 .220
BT 2.5 .255
BT 3 .349
BT 4 .422
BT 5 .515 This body tubes fits "mini" size engines.
BT 20 .707 This body tubes fits A, B & C size engines.
BT 50 .947 This body tubes fits "D" size engines.
29mm 1.138 This body tubes fits "F" and "G" size engines.
BT 55 1.280
BT 56 1.301
BT 60 1.593
BT 70 2.172
BT 80 2.585
