It actually got here yesterday. That compactor works well on cardboard, but thankfully it can't handle foam peanuts! The box looked bad, but the contents survived. I've got to get me one of those Napoleon tri-stone AR's!

Fortunately for me I live about an hour and a half from SEMROC so normally if I place an order, say, on Wednesday morning, and its put in the mail that day I usually get it the next day or at most the day after, and everything is in good shape. Now orchids are another story. every time I order live plants the box shows up looking like someone played football with it.

A letter that was supposed to go from England to France ended up in my mailbox in Pittsburg, California.

Now that is just plain tragic.

I thought it was SOP for shipping companies to use packages as 'boot-print testors' and as substitute footballs when customer has chosen cheapest shipment method. Seems pretty normal to me....
Can't expect Rolls-Royce service when you want to pay for a rusty '72 Pinto.

Before I got Amazon Prime and used the free shipping for over $25 orders they would regularly hold orders that would ship from Indiana or Kentucky for several days before shipping them. Once the shipped they would get to me in a couple of days. I am sure they did it just to make sure I didn't get fast delivery for free. |

Amazon seems to be slowing down in their old age. Semroc however has been quite speedy over the last couple of weeks.
