Has anyone built one of these and not used the plastic chutes supplied in the kit? They are unique to this release. I would be interested in buying them if anyone wants to sell them Thanks.

Knowing that's the only thing Verna hasn't installed on her last Saturn V build a few months ago, I went to take a look. They look like all the other Estes chutes made in China that I've ever seen.

What's supposed to be different about them?

Sorry for the long delay in answering this. The 24 inch chutes in this kit (the black box kit..can't remember the number right now) resemble the old Centuri red and white 24 inch chutes. They are more or less scale. The 30th anniversary SV used the older orange and white with blue center chutes. The most rest SV release included the ones I am looking for. Anyone?

I have a 26" chute. Sorry I can't get a steady pic. It has a ARK style spaceship in the center.
