Smile

Eljefe, I decided that I am going to get the Estes QCC Explorer first, since it has some building characteristics similiar to the Estes Conquest. I am going to get the Conquest as well, but build the QCC first. It also gives me an excuse to buy two kits instead of one. I have an order of BT-20 tubes that suppose to be delivered to my local hobby shop today, They will complete the component list for a model that I currently have in the build queue. The Shrox Vipox.

Sounds like a plan! The Vipox must be inspired by the Colonial Vipers from Battlestar Galactica, probably the old-school original Galactica at that.

I have an Estes BSG Colonial Viper kit still in the box. You can get clone kits from MoreRockets.

They are based here in New Hampshire.

They have an upscale Viper too!

Just found this thread.

Mr. Lazarus has some awesome designs here.

Thought I'd throw in a couple of build threads of jet-style plans I've done;

If you have any interest in older-style planes, I've done a couple of "DieselPunk" types as well;

Later,
