I remember the Light Gliders.

I had the Hi-Lite and the Flight Master. Both flew beautifully and the Flight Master was HUGE!!!

It had a 24 inch wing span and a 9 inch diameter prop IIRC.

The only problem I had with the planes is that the propellers were very flimsy. Even with just minor impacts, one of the blades would snap off.

Hello Rich

Do you have a hobby shop? What else do you have "haunting" you?

Yes, hobby shop and distribution business in my Dad's name. Dad can't manage things anymore so I am helping him out.

The two things that haunt me (in regards to Estes product) are the rocket powered race cars and Star Wars Episode One kits. We have cases of the cars and kits.

So they misspelled Dud, eh?

I remember when those came out. Many of us had a good laugh, but still went out and bought one, using our 40% off coupons, of course, or got them at WalMart, where they had 2-packs of the D motors cheap.

I didn't realize there was such a backlog of unsold product out there. I didn't think they were great sellers, but I didn't realize they had done so poorly.

FWIW, mine's up in the attic having only ever flown one time. Maybe I ought to get it out and take it to a club launch. There's a whole new generation of fliers out there who've never seen this thing.

Doug

Yes, we have some up on eBay right now. Item number 160467045432.

If you don't want to go the eBay route then PM me and I am sure we can work something out.

Either that or my Dad just bought too many of the darned things. He's been known to do that on occasion.

You should. I watched a few YouTube videos of them and as long as they are inflated correctly they look like a fun one to watch.
