TARC Team Competition Rule Clarification

As most of you know I make custom parts, transitions, nose cone, etc.

I have been contacted by a TARC team to make them some custom parts specifically a custom nose cone and transition.

My thought was and correct me, please, if I'm wrong, was that a TARC team couldn't purchase custom made parts.

Am I wrong on this?

Seems like Ted Cochran ends up quoting this part from the team handbook
at least once a year on the TARC Yahoo mailing list...

Having a custom flight vehicle part fabricated by a composite or plastics company or custom wood machining company (even if it is to your design) does not constitute sale of a "standard off the-shelf product" and is not allowed. However, having a mandrel fabricated to your specifications that is used to wrap fiberglass on to make your rocket body would be OK. In this case, the company is making a tool; you are making the part that flies.
