Default info Saab

First, is bank check or money order OK with you ?
I am not set up for paypal, I will take a personal check but I will hold for 10 days to clear before shipping. No offence I do this with my own mother.

Second, Wear abouts would I be shipping this ?

Third, Do you want one or two ?

These are in mint condition, Boxes clean, no dents, non-smoking home.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lastly the Saab, This is all the info on the paper hanging tag.

Scale Kits " D - Series " Saab RB83
Rec Motor - D-12
Height - 16.9"
Weight - 2.5oz
Diamiter - 1.6"
Motor Mount - 24mm

Flight's up to 1000 feet.

end of bag, tag info, I see a bright cranbery red foil streammer, Balsa wood perfect,
looks like the old you cut out the templet and trace and cut out the 8 fins.
4 smaller fins near tail, 4 larger fins 1/4 way up from tail.
Roundish nose cone, I think it is exact match for Big Bertha. metal engine hook, snap swivels, both BT and motor tube perfect, NO ovaling.
Two small decal's 'Saab B83' water slide.

Mint, You could eat off this kit.

Nice thick instructions, no tears in bag.

I have to look up what I paid for it. Also if still interested I canget a few pic's.

Let me know the answers to above, Thanks Al

Gary Nichols out of Michigan produced Scale Kits. He was a co-worker of mine at the time. He got burned out and was going to turn things over to Uncle Mike's. Not sure what happened there though.

FYI -
Peter has a handful of scale kits that BMS sells.

Gary only produced kits for about a year (2003 thru 2004). He didn't get back into the hobby until 2002. He went from BAR to manufacturer to RC Helos in less than two years. *LOL*

Default Sorry

Thanks for correcting me.

I'm new to this mid-power, smaller manufacturers stuff.

I just liked the look, but had second thought about opening pandora's box of rockets bigger than 18mm engines. I never launch anthing bigger than a C6-5.

It is not how big they are it is what you do with it.

Building a 1972 Mini Bomarc currently, so cute and so easy to display.

Thanks again, Alan

I am interested, but I think we should transition to email for the specifics. Please reply to harsas@earthlink.net for the answers to your questions.
Thanks,
Harold
