Centuri payloader 2
Does anyone have a centuri payloader 2 painted in the gold color as shown in the 1972 centuri catalog ? Anyone know what shade of gold it was painted ?
Thanks Bobby |

I do not "know", but it appears to be Antique Gold, a color both Krylon and Rustoleum used to make. Valspar Gold is pretty close.
Paint it so you like it. Don't let the OCD win.

The Payloader II was my trusty favorite when I was a child. I painted one of my recent clones that color. I didn't give the precise shade of gold much importance. I used either Krylon or Valspar Gold. Consider that the image in the 1972 catalog is not a photo. No one painted an actual model and took a photograph of it.
