I think so Dave "bought" the kit line from Sherri IIRC.

Just Jerry

I think NCR was around before TLP too, but I'm not sure. NCR has been around since the mid 80's but I don't know when TLP started.

I actually agree with that. NCR was an Ace clone. Ace was the first HPR kit manufacturer. NCR post-dated U.S. Rockets and a couple others now gone. Starts with AAA. The only reason Enerjet was not the first is they would not sell to consumers.

Forgot about AAA being an early player, and I even have a few of Mr. Andrake's kits.
We also need to remember FSI, which had E and F kits and motors in the 70's.

Yes, he did, and was in the process of retooling it and reintroducing it. I saw some of the new masters he was having made when I visited RAH years ago (there's a thread around here somewhere with the details...) Real works of art-- FAR superior and more accurate than the rather crummy and inaccurate (and flat WORN OUT) masters that he had obtained as part of the buyout of SHR...

It's a shame, really...

Later! OL J R

Gerry Welman was making the new molds for Dave at RA. I just saw him at NARAM, but didn't get a chance to chat with him much. I'll ask him about the molds the next time I run into him.

I would be curious to know what became of those as well. Thanks Buzz for the info.

You probably live closest to him...that I know of anyways. Perhaps you could call him and find out?
I'm guessing that is something you would like to take over?
I'm sure you would be moved to Super Hero Status if you did and upgraded the tooling and such.
It's too bad I don't have the money or I would pursue it, and TLP. I really like the TLP kits as well.
I wish you much Uncle Mikey!!!

Not sure about taking that over. We have been slowly making changes over here.
