German A4b info?
A few years ago on YORF there was a post or a thread about a semi-scale build of a WWII German A4b (piloted V2) flying model rocket.
I can't seem to find the thread with the search words I've tried. Need some help, please. Thanks!

What keyword did you use to snag that? Search complains that A4b is too short. Bill

Was the A-4b piloted?
Or are you thinking of the A-9 with two of the fins extended into strakes? Let me see if I can find a picture . . . .

These pics may help.
It shows the relative differences. The A9 was also supposed to be piloted but it was the second stage to the A10. That thing was supposed to be capable of crossing the Atlantic. The A4 was a short range single stage version.

Special Hobby had a 1/72 A-4b with both B/W and camo paint schemes. They are on the web for finishing.

I have 1 of those kits as well as one of their A9 kit.
The main body looks like it would take a BT-5.
