Default Need some advice here please...

I'm unfortunately having some money issues so I've decided to part with a bunch of my
unbuilt rocket kits. What would be my best course of action?

List them here and ask for offers?
List them on ebay?
Something else?

Thanks for any help.

- Dale

You will likely get your best price on Ebay. But you pay no fees in a YORF auction.

Yes put them on ebay. One kit in each auction. Make sure you put Estes or not Estes in the listing header because a lot of people search for the word Estes.

People here are not going to overpay ... people on ebay do all the time.

If you do list on eBay though, DO post a link of your auctions to this thread so we can all see what you have. Might be some goodies some of us need or want. Certainly a good 'target audience' here.

Thanks for the replies. I won't be able to post them until late Sunday or Monday, but I'll see
if I can get a list together before I leave for Dallas tomorrow so y'all will have an idea of
what I'll be selling (and maybe a few suggestions on what to start the bidding at).

Thanks again.

I have found the YORF auctions a good alternative to Ebay for a couple of reasons..............

Firstly, as stated before, no fees here and all the upgrades you want on your auction are free.

Secondly, I get the impression that many members here do not regularly troll Ebay. If that's true, there are a bunch of potential customers here that you will only reach HERE. By all means, if you don't want to list here, at least post a link to your Ebay auction.

There are a lot of good guys that frequent this forum who are always ready with good advice when needed. I like to occasionally use the YORF auctions to offer something useful or collectable to the guys here. As a matter of fact, I am currently offering what is probably the most useful catalog that Estes ever produced (the P741 Parts Catalog) in a YORF auction. And I have a bid on it, too!

I regularly troll ebay for vintage rockets, but rarely win because they most often go for more than what they are worth to me.

You WILL get the most $$$ on ebay by far.
