Well, "The Vixen" has made her choice(s) as for the top coat color(s). I told her that all orange was indeed an option--but she didn't seem interested in all orange.
SO GET READY! TBC

D'OH!!! Thanks for the answer. Myself, I'm trying to figure out how to paint the inside of the shroud after assembling it. All The Best! Jim

........and the colors "The Vixen" chose are:
Spa Blue and Berry Pink! (eew) As for painting the inside of the shroud, "The Vixen" has graciously volunteered to paint it by hand (she has the right brushes and the dexterity.) Time for a drink. Good night. TBC

All I can say about those colors is ... if you fly it in a Lil Augie Drag Race, at least it will be easy to spot yours and not get it mixed up with others!

Foil! I just remembered the kit includes (6) good sized pieces of adhesive foil--enough to cover a large portion of the inside of the shroud.

Almost done now.
"The Vixen" painted the inside of the shroud black and it's been dry for days. The kit comes with (6) rectangular pieces of adhesive foil, and I've applied them to the inside of the shroud and smoothed them down with a heavy walled cardboard tube (actually the core from a roll of professional-grade aluminum foil.) I'll decal the model after I return from Tulsa. Good night. TBC

and.............................Voila!
I'm back from Tulsa and I've finished the Lil' Augie. The decals were pretty easy--except for the very large shroud wrap. If I build it again I'll cut the shroud wrap into (3) sections. After the decals were dry I brushed it with acrylic floor polish--it's too humid here in N. IL this week to use Glosscote Lacquer reliably. Maybe I'll do an upscale version of this and call it Doggie Daddy! (that's an obscure cartoon reference. you may have to Google it.) Thanks for watching!
