That's really cool. But that's gotta be pretty weighty. It'd work fine on a long nose moment Soyuz but I'd hate to try that on a short nose Sputnik. You'd need a solid tungsten nose.

Please post a picture of your R-7. We just don't see that may built and yours sounds like a big one.
