In my case, it was just ugly--the Krylon crinkled up and blistered. Even after multiple efforts to sand it off and apply a covering coat of primer, I still had trouble.


The Krylon Clears are acrylics, and not to be confused with the older Krylon colors, that crinkled about everything except other Krylons.

Krylon sells these acrylic clears to preserve photos, seal inkjet prints, etc. They are meant to be used to topcoat a wide range of paints and I've yet to have any issues.
