Yes, that's the one (the Mitosis) that I could picture but not name as I wrote that last posting. Stine also mentioned that nose-blow recovery (mid-body break-apart should work just as well) is also sometimes used for the upper stages of multi-stage models, to ensure that they'll land on the launch field (a "threaded"-on-shock-cord, narrow metallized streamer would sparkle in the sky, aiding descent tracking). |
