Was able to finish my F-14-ish model up before I leave on vacation. It has a lot of wing, but is fairly heavy so the boost is lower, so sort of a wash. I finished it in a pseudo VF-111 sundowner scheme but with the early 1970's white control surface scheme that they didn't actually use in VF-111, but I felt it helped set off the tail surface and swing wing markings and give it that tomcat look. I think its the best I could do while still using the interceptor cone, I could later switch to a PS-II 2" cone and add a bubble canopy, but since that cone is shorter It will require a bit more nose weight to compensate. It's already at 14 oz rtf so a bit of a piggy.
18" long, 24" wingspan, about 6 oz/sq foot wing loading.
