As for TRF, it was created with lots of support from the powers-that-be at NAR. They wanted a moderated forum that was free of the crap going on elsewhere, primarily r.m.r. But in recent years, my take is that the NAR has put its recruiting and PR efforts into Facebook and left TRF to itself. But I could be wrong.

For sure, I've spent 0 time there in recent years, so I don't have a feel for it anymore. But that last couple times I looked in there, it seemed kinda slow compared to earlier times.
