That suit reminds me.

When I was a kid, the books said that the atmosphere on Mars was thick enough that we do not need a pressure suit, but there was not enough free oxygen to sustain human life. A supplementary source of oxygen would suffice though. I thought that Mars would be a pleasant place to be, with its slightly longer day and cooler temperatures.

Now we know that conditions are nowhere that hospitable, and I am not even touching the radiation level due to the lack of a magnetic shield.
