OK, second try on the LES tower. I spoke too soon when I said the styrene was easier to work with! The Tenax causes some shrinkage in the glue joints and causes distortion. I learned how to use the E-Z applicator a little better, and modified the jig. It still isn't perfect, but I think I can make it work. I wonder if CF will be stiffer than styrene.
edit: pinning this bad boy would help--I was trying to avoid that, but Tim's picture above shows they help a bunch!
Anyway, I believe my drawing is complete and should work.
On another note, I have begun CAD work on the "naughty bits" in preparation for detailing. I made contact w/ Paul Graf and am in the process of obtaining wraps for this bird (thanks Drew & Paul!).
