Woof! Gorgeous. '67 Vette would float my boat as well. I'm easy. I'm pretty fond of an xke as well. My old friend Ray Heppenstall told me he'd like to have one with a 289 plugged in it just to... |

You'd have a bit of trouble getting that Hanomag street legal. |

There's a judge in town that owns 3 or 4 Duesenburgs. He used to take them out for spins but I haven't seen them in some years now. Don't see him much either. |

.. to drive around (street legal) on Sundays or whatever—what would it be? As for me, I've always wanted one of these: With the twin super-chargers. |

I lost my Geo Sat LV to the Cooper River. Last I saw it, it was being carried by the current towards the Delaware River a short distance away. I'd love to have another one, but when they show up on... |

Pretty hard to "derail" a two year old thread that got off topic on page two. That's a very handsome rocket and way cool looking. Kudos on the build. At least it got some powder smoke in it. Just... |

I was wondering about that myself. Those rockets seem incredibly efficient. The pad exhaust was a brown color—which I haven't seen before. |

Well, when you look at the tab for fixing all those Jeeps—it's not hard to imagine why they won't. It'd probably bankrupt them (again). I'm so very disappointed in American automobiles/corporations... |

I did the same thing and bought another of the old Centuri designs that they were discontinuing (Phoenix Bird and the Estes Strato Cruiser were the other two), just to kind of make the shipping... |

The Nova Payloader was my second build as a re-BAR. One of my favorite Estes designs. It's another of my rockets that always goes launching with me. It's looking a little ragged here lately, but... |

Wha, wha, wait a minute. Lost your job? For what? 'Splain yourself Jeffy. As far as gloss or flat—try the happy medium—satin. The BB is looking good. |

Eh, card stock covering over built-up balsa or basswood? Maybe it's just me, but I don't have a problem with that. I wouldn't think it'd fold or break on ya. I have the conventional fibre fins on the... |

From the article I posted: "Assistant Principal Dan Durham reportedly heard the noise, investigated and called the police." And people wonder. |

The article mentioned doesn't say exactly what she did. It was as vague as can possibly be. How one determines that she was making a "bomb" from what can be read—is a friggin' big jump. A giant... |

Denatured if I have it, Isopropyl (91%) if I don't. I usually grab a mayo jar of denatured at the boat barn as that's what we use to prep surfaces before caulking and mounting hardware or painting.... |

Not that I'm any whiz-bang, but I just sand the bugger with 400 grit or whatever—doesn't make a lot of difference to me, fill and sand any seams, wipe with alcohol (no, I don't use my rum) and go... |

I wonder that they didn't ground them for a spell or give them some sort of reprimand. I guess "I forgot" is good enough in wartime. Fortunately, they both lived to fly again. Chit happens. Homely... |

If the lugs aren't in the way, I'll put one on the "clean" side and one on the lug side. If the lugs are in the way, Bill's solution works fine. I prefer the first option. |
