:o Uh, I cheated and used Estes-size parts. I was just trying for "close enough". ;) Since it's basically a 2 stage Goblin, I didn't think anyone would mind. |

I think the gray came when I opened my 50th birthday present. I think I'll be getting eyeglasses for my 51st. ;) As for the Dart, I have the new one ready for the paint booth. I also have the BT-55... |

I'd leave it as it is. I had one rocket left over from my "yout", an Estes X-Wing that I'd never managed to fly way back then. I decided to "restore" it, so I stripped it down and disassembled it,... |

We used to buy them at Tank & Tummy, a convenience store midway between my house and my Grandparents. (First place I ever pumped gas. Into Grandpa's AMC Hornet.) I had a huge box of Wacky... |

Not really. Then I'd have no one to blame when something like this inevitably happened. I still have one of the F50's and G that I was saving for the second flight on Saturday. I've... |

I'm going to try this one on a calmer day after I add a couple of washers for nose weight. There was a lot of wiggling going on as it left the pad, something I noted with the 1:1 Scram Jets I built... |

This one we did find. It was blown out cleaner than me after a White Castle feast. Not sure why the incredible damage. The bend in the upper part of the tube was obviously from the ballistic... |

Perfectly normal except for the gash at the nozzle end where it struck the blast deflector. Maybe my masking tape job wasn't up to snuff on that one, but like you said, no damage to the rocket other... |

Thanks for reminding me, Doug. I did recover it, but we never found the casing despite walking all over the area near the pad. The centering rings were never found either. |

Neither of the two of mine that CATOd have any chance of repair. I'm going to build another Dart, but I'll find something else to do with the Rascal cone. Too much balsa in that bird to do it all... |

Reminds me of the primer my brother used on his '66 Charger. That car was in primer for a LONG time, but it looked great when he finally got it painted. |

I got the first one. The second one completely lost me. ;) (But I was cooking all day, so I was unusually distracted.) I still have a couple of the C11-0s and E9-8s. Not sure I'm up to... |

The only thing that makes it somewhat worthwhile is seeing the pics. ;) Then again, nothing made the Ventris experience worthwhile. That sucked with a slurping sound. BTW, the pics are in the... |

These would have been in my car for the whole NARAM in 2011 when the tip of my QModeling Rogue nose cone melted and my Maxi Streak decal burned. Plus the fact that they were likely ten years old if... |
