I'm pretty sure the answer is (presently) "no", but does anyone produce a scale Antares 110 kit or plans? Is one in the works? Thanks! |

I bounced the question off of my wife, whom replied: "Jeff, you don't own ANY rockets. They own YOU." Nice. |

And now after A LOT of sanding, the nooks and crannies of the cone are filled. Where I sanded down to white, I'll cover those portions with a thin slurry of dilluted wood filler. Good night. TBC |

Now I get it. Carlotta (a.k.a. "The Stomach") and Ginger (a.k.a. "The Money Pit") don't enter the rocket room very often. I think they're repelled by Frank Zappa and by the smell of epoxy. |

I actually had to look up the word "screed". I too am NOT a fan of pressure-sensitive decals. IMO the worse set of pressure sensitive decals and the hardest to apply are (were) the decals for the... |

After wrapping the orange shoulder with delicate surface painter's tape, I apply scant fillets to the escape rockets. I've inserted a piece of .25" birch dowel into the carriage bolt hole to reduce... |

Using a flat Swiss file, I remove the maker's marks from the head of the carriage bolt and then sand it smooth. I then paint the head black with gloss enamel. The bolt won't be installed until... |

Next, I run scant, strength only fillets along the fins and LL. Now the hard part begins: assembling and prepping the PITA foam nose cone. First the black disk is registered to the inside bottom of... |

I know, but its' VERY hard to sand epoxy if it needs to be smoothed out after it hardens. Here's a closeup of another MLAS I built--more recent than the one at the beginning of this thread. It was... |

I bet it does! I've tested my topcoat on the unseen bottom of the foam NC: Testors MM bright white. I'll test the primer after I send "The Vixen" to get some, but I'm pretty sure the primer is foam... |
