Mad Cow Tomach 2.6" FG

Hi,

Nate and I just completed our first Fiberglass build (Mad Cow Tomach 2.6"). The build thread is in the general forum under projects.

I've attached a pic of the final result.

Overall I can say we love the solid build feel of the FG and the final finish is very nice. Although, I was reminded of a comment Rex made to my son and I after we got our L1 cert this spring....

Rex said "Congrats! Welcome to HPR now open your wallet!"......

He was of course correct...

After picking up the I357T motor we intend to use for its first flight our costs on this build are probably in excess of $350...

We are hoping that the investment allows us to pursue our L2 cert with this rocket next summer!!

Cheers all!

BTW - The UW Platteville theme is in honor of our older son who not only got into the school but also made the football team!

First flight of our Pioneer Tomach at Midwest Power 13 this past Sunday.

I-357 Blue Thunder

Altimeter triggered dual deploy. Motor ejection charge as a backup. Had a Spy Crushers keychain video camera taped to the side. I'll include a link to the YouTube video in a follow up post.

Perfect weather and a great flight!

Cheers!

Matt and Nate
