May 5th Alan Shepard

58th Anniversary coming up Sunday. I wish I had a C5-3 for a nice safe and straight anniversary flight.

If you were local, I'd give you one of mine, with a good date code.
How bout a Quest C or D instead ? Those are plentiful.

I don't have a local source and they wouldn't arrive in time. Besides, I like the stinky smell of burned black powder motors. :D

Well, with a 4'+ long rod, you can get away with the C6-3 in low wind.
I used an Aerotech 18mm D the last time mine flew.
CHAD stage a C11-0 to a B4-2 ??

LOL, that had already crossed my mind. However, the MR isn't all that extra stable in stock form. I'd have to throw some weight in the capsule.

Maybe I should start the old motor manufacturing business back up and crank out a B14-2 (B8-2). It might under perform a Saturn V on a D12-3! Instead of flying in the Astrodome, I could do a demo launch inside Bridgestone Arena during a hockey game. :D Too bad the Preds are out of the playoffs.

Originally Centuri recommended the B4-2 for this one.
The B4-2 does have more "kick" than a B6-2. A spike then a tailing off long low thrust like the C5-3.
