Estes Conquest Project

My winter project has progressed to the completely assembled state. I checked with the Estes Customer Service rep that I have become friends with, on the color of the blue on the finished image that comes with the kit. The white is gloss white and the blue is Model Masters # 2715 gloss French blue in the spray can and there is also French blue in the 1/2 oz bottle. My local Hobby town has both the spray and bottle so when all of this snow goes away enough to get to town I'll pick them up. I will add an image later of the model as it is now. While the kit was assigned a level 5, I felt that the most complex part of the kit was the wing assembly, but the CC part made the wing parts easy to glue up at the right angles. The best way to get the correct angles called for on the plans is to just sand the connecting wing parts at an angle and keep checking the fit with the Part CC angle indicator. It doesn't take but a couple of passes with a sanding block to get there.
I can't decide which model to build next, The Estes QCC Explorer or the Semroc Hydra VII. I have both in my build queue.
