Valkyrie 2 Rocket
 

I have some Vashon INDUSTRIES rockets some of the 2 stage and single stage rockets.
These are of the vintage before Estes purchased the company. Does any one know what the value is. Can not find anything about the rocket other about the company. I think they are from the late 60 but early 70's Please advise thanks

Not sure what the value for today is, but I sure wish I had purchased at least one of the
Vashon Industries starter set when I had the chance. Those cold powered model rockets
look really cool. John Pursley and I were just talking about the Vashon Industries models
the last time we got together to talk rockets, space, etc.

As a rule of thumb you can expect somewhere in the region of

Valkyrie I $240
Valkyrie II $290

in average for mint unopened kits.

Last fall I sold a Vashon X-13 Rocket Plane starter set for a club member on ebay. This set contained what was basically a Valkyrie 1 rocket with a hitchhiker glider. The set was complete, unbuilt, parts bagged (to keep the magic fairy dust inside) and original, it even had the launch pad and can of propellent. I scanned the whole shebang for YORP.
