Plot graph function work?

I'm helping a TARC team and we've plotted a bunch of graphs where the output doesn't make sense. We did a temperature plot versus altitude and it showed like an 800ft difference in altitude when the temperature changed by 3 degrees.

We get similar nonsensical results with other sorts of plots. I came home and ran the graph function on my computer using one of my rocket files and the plot graph function seemed pretty much messed up on my computer too.

Anyone else have any experience with this feature? I emailed "Mr. Rocket" and haven't heard back yet, but I don't expect a useful response.

I would guess that the temperature being measured is the altimeter board temp. That temp would not be very responsive because the PCB acts as a thermal mass. Also, the temp sensor on the altimeter is measuring the ebay air temp which is not the same as the external air temp, because the ebay acts as a partly isolated chamber.

If you want to be able to track air temp changes versus altitude you would need a separate temp sensor ideally mounted on the outside of the rocket. The temp sensor would need low thermal mass so that it responds quickly to temperature changes.
