it's a Klingon D-7 battlecruiser RC RG. It's a real floater. 23.5" wingspan, 29" long, 10.75 oz rtf. https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/sho...C-Rocket-Glider Flight Video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQ3UEXjqLRI |
This is so **** cool.
The fact that you just needed to add a rudder to make it stable is impressive. I assume it is foam, like your other masterpieces? |
Yes, it's the new MPF foam, only tube is the 24mm that goes from the rear up through the bridge. I did not include the bent down wingtips since one parkjet designer said he had problems with the model wanting to flip upside down with them, they acted like a polyhedral wing and didn't like being upside down. But yes, i'm pretty excited it worked so well with smart planning of equipment placement/sizing etc.

I have a laser cutter who can cut the Klingon battlecruiser parts for me to make kits, however the cost and commit is 6 kits up front, I was wondering if any of you seriously wanted a kit of that model so I can get an idea if it is worth pursuing instructions/kitting and parts. Cost for the kit should be close to my other kits around $65 including priority shipping.
