Trying to contact Apogee...
Hi all,
After having the p.c. fixed I re-installed RocSim. A key was requested on 3/28 - no reply. Also a request was sent through their web site ~ a week ago; nothing. Any one have any ideas? Many thanks, Bob |
From what I remember, Tim doesn't like handing out "replacement" keys. Still no reason for them to not give any kind of reply. I'd try calling them directly vs email to see how that works.

My harddrive crashed a few weeks back and had to re-install Roc-9 . I emailed Apogee and they sent me an attached RockSim license file. They also told me to make a copy of the file on a CD rom for future use. I contacted them on Friday and they responded the following Monday.
I would perhaps phone them. Paul |
Also make sure to check your SPAM folder to see if the messages went there.
Couldn't help to notice you also said you didn't get a reply from the NAR. Both the NAR and Apogee are pretty good on returning emails. |

I called today...
A replacement 'key' is $10. I went ahead and upgraded from 8.xx to 9.xx I've had RocSim since Narcon '00 IIRC (a couple of 3.5" floppies) and upgraded 5/'06. Will burn the new key to c/d (yep, c/d's can go bad) when it arrives in order to prevent this from happening again. Samantha @ Apogee was most helpful and friendly btw. Bob |
