Aerotech Initiator
Just finished this kit and I gotta say it was a blast to build. Very easy, clean and solid. I built the Astrobee D earlier this year and it was a fun build as well but this kit just went together seamlessly. Can't wait to launch this baby! I just need to slap some paint on it, apply the decals and she'll be ready to go! Great kit Aerotech!

Hey—pictures, or it didn't happen.

Haha, I can post some photos, sure, but after seeing JeffyJeep, Foamy, Jharding, etc. build threads.... well, a lowly Initiator build with pics seems kind of insignificant! But, yeah, I'll post few when I get home from work!

No rocket is insignificant if you thought enough of it to buy & fly it! |
The more Initiators the better, I say. ;) :D
I'm glad you enjoyed building the kit. Have fun flying your Initiator! |

Here are a couple of photos... sans paint/decals

That's a nice looking rocket. Maybe one of these days when I get the MPR bug...
Thanks for posting those. Now I'll wait patiently for the paint. Carry on. |
Thanks Foamy. I'm hoping to get some paint on it before it gets too cold here!

All done! Had a little problem with my tape peeling off some of the paint on the NC. Really P.O.'d me because as big as this NC the first time I painted it, it was smooth and looked awesome. I didn't have time to sand it down and re-prime it and all that so I touched it up with a paint marker, sanded it a little bit and re-shot it. My Rustoleum can started acting up and the paint started spitting so it ended up not so great looking. Thems the breaks. Shouldn't affect the performance on this baby, though!
