Star Trek

Funny but accurate. I've actually heard this described as "The best SF movie ever made" and foks who liked superhero movies and ranked Iron Man and Wolverine as best ever now feel this is even better. Non-Trek fans expressed the same sentiments.

Yeah, I've heard that from the critics. Being a Star Trek fan, I think they screwed up the whole time line now. That Rick Berman should have eaten a bullet a long time ago. Like, when he screwed up Voyager and DS-9...

I, for one, am boycotting the film!

My friend rented out a theater this Saturday and is having a big party surrounding the opening of the film... Yes he's a Trek nut, and yes I'll be there enjoying it :D . I just wish he lived closer than Florida  .

Anybody see "Fringe" on Fox last night? Nice JJ Abrams/Star Trek cross-weaving. Even had Clint Howard.

Has the poor guy gotten over his Tranya habit?

BTW, in the previews for next weeks episode Leonard Nemoy is a guest star!

I'm 50, and have been a Trek fan since the late '60s. This is not my Star Trek. But that might not be a bad thing. The time line is all messed up, but I bet they have an explanation. The Enterprise is kind of ugly and the bridge looks like an Apple store. I would guess it will be a big success.

Figures they'd mess this up with a story line, acting skills and quality special effect.

jeeze

I hope William Shatner can find a nice, low-cost hotel room to cry in...

What'll they do next, actually start putting "decorations" and things in the conference rooms?

When will it ever stop!??!

Oh and I remember the first tme I watched that fight with the Gorn. Lordy, that one kept me up nights!

jim

:D :D :D

(going to see it tomorrow with Kathy, and can't wait :) )

I wanted to see it in IMAX at the Detroit Science Center but they are sold out until the end of next week!
