WOOSH Webpage

Don't know who is webmaster now, but whoever it is can you clean this up and get the site locked down so it doesn't keep happening? A red WOT rating is not very inviting.

I'm the webmaster and that data is from 2010. That data is long gone and no longer valid.

If you paste the link in, it doesn't show anything but a 404 page now.

Thanks Bill. How do we get WOT and Phishtank to remove the 'red' rating?

My guess is pay them something..

The fact that they have this old data doesn't really effect the way we run things. We aren't out to be popular or show up high on search engines. We aren't a business trying to make money. We are just using the website to get our club info and schedule out.

I plan on suggesting a website overhaul at the next club meeting. What we have now is not easy to maintain and looks quite dated.

I've already started on a template. It's just a matter of getting approval.

If approved, the new website will use Google for the following..

Manage a photo album. (a sample is available now to see the format)
Manage club documents. (meeting minutes, reports, etc all on Google docs). Super easy to update.. Drag and drop.
Manage the calendar. (already done)

That leaves the existing server to serve up a few new pages, but not much else.

What Bill is planning is long overdue and I am certainly happy he has volunteered to do it.
I am always frustrated that you aren't able to print out the club safety range rules to include in proposals to landowners for new flying fields and such.
It should be easy.
Thanks Bill,
I'm looking forward to the new site.

Doesn't work, the black background does something to it.
Why, I don't know.
