Got a fairing half! (links)

Hello All,

Today’s successful Falcon 9 launch (see: http://spaceflightnow.com/2018/02/2...eds-into-orbit/ , http://www.space.com/39755-spacex-u...satellites.html , http://www.space.com/39784-spacex-c...et-fairing.html , and http://www.space.com/39771-mr-steve...pacex-gear.html ) from Vandenberg Air Force Base included a milestone in SpaceX's quest for maximum component reuse:

The vessel that SpaceX has outfitted to recover a payload fairing half after each launch, called Mr. Steven, barely missed catching its quarry today, but the fairing half landed gently in the Pacific, near Mr. Steven. Photographs showed the rather boat-like fairing half floating stably, riding high in the water. (They will need two vessels to recover *both* fairing halves—maybe the second one will be named Mr. Bean? :-) )
